I could watch these scenes forever and still feel like I’m missing something.
You wanted more drunken commentary, you got it.
I regret nothing.
On that note, here are some Skin Deep caps. With commentary.
I have spent too much time re watching ALWM. And on this last watch, I noticed in the scene where Mr. Gold is dragging Belle through the woods, the look on his face when Belle called his name and told him to “Wait”
It was a look of uncertainty. He did not know what was going to happen next. Considering the last time he saw her she was chewing nails and spitting bullets he wasn’t sure what she was going to say. This is the man that is two steps ahead of everyone else. Belle changed the game he was playing and he knows it. There is someone for him to love. She had every right to curse him and run screaming away and he knew it.
The look of heartbreak is just at the surface. And then she says “I love you”. You can see him take a breath out. And then “I love you too”
Belle is his humanity. He will need that with the magic. She almost pulled him back once. Here is hoping she can do it again.
And not to be picky, but COME ON, could he have maybe stopped Sneezy’s drug store and bought his true love a hair brush and some detangler? The girl has been locked up for 30 yrs is that too much to ask?
Tori reacts to the opening of Skin Deep:
All she knew going in was that it was a “Valentine’s Day episode” and was going to give her a lot of feels, possibly Reichenbach level feels. She had no idea about the Rumplestiltskin focus (her favorite character), or that it was based upon Beauty & the Beast, one of her favorite fairy tales.
This also features appearances from Mysticstar and Puddlepiratey. I’m the voice behind the camera, obviously.
Has no one mentioned the irony that Henry bought MM a bell?
Did no one overhear that, while August was creepin’ in the shop, Henry was asking Mr. Gold about bells? (You hear Henry ringing it, more than once). They were having a conversation about a bell?
Did no one catch this? Honestly, I was expecting the Rumbelle fandom to be all over this shit.
